RE-ENACTED PHOTOGRAPHY
PAPER RECONSTRUCTIONS OF MOVIE SCENES
The art of photography enable pictures to prossess their very own
visual language;
a documentation of reality is not necessarily within the focus of the observed scene. My bachelor thesis
presents photos whose motives do not show the reality but a re-enabled
reality with stage character. They are staged situations - illusions. Details are kept back to make
room for speculations and fantasy. The motives have been created entirely from paper and cardboard.
They are motivated by scenes from classical movies by Alfred Hitchcock. He emphazised the dialectic
of light, shadow and colors and achieved a unique display which fascinates me.
